2026 Junior Debutante Season
The Ballet Women’s Committee is excited to celebrate this year’s Debutantes
The first required step is to complete the Debutante Information Form, available in the dropdown menu below.
All information for the 2026 season, including payment links, is also provided.

To complete payment by credit card, please click on the link below. Please pay by July 18, 2026.

Please complete the Junior Debutante Guest list form by October 1st.
Each Junior Debutante Family will receive 4 invitations with their dues. The Debutante and Father do not need a ticket. These tickets are for both the presentation and ball. Additional ball tickets will be available for purchase at a later date.

BALL NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
The Poinsettia Debutante Ball Board will provide an official photographer for the evening of the ball.
Here's what you need to know:
Family Photos
• Each Debutante will be assigned a photo time in November by Zap. *Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your assigned photo time.
• These photos include immediate family only: Debutante, Presenter, Parents, Siblings, Grandparents.
Additional Photos
• After the presentation, the Zap photographer will be available for photos with extended family and friends.
• All photos taken will be available for purchase through Zap.
Group Photo
A group photo of all Debutantes will be taken before the presentation.

The Junior Debutantes and mothers are invited to attend a Mother Daughter Tea in December. More information coming soon.

All Gowns are to be approved by the Junior Deb Committee. Please provide a photo, designer name, and style number when submitting. Contact Info below.
Jr. Debutante
The gown is to be red. If you are in doubt about the color, please select another gown. The skirt of the gown is to be full. It is not to be fitted to the hips or straight, and must not have a train of any length or have a plunging neckline.
No fur, feathers, corsages, or hair ornaments are allowed.
White cotton gloves (may have some spandex) 16 inches long above the elbow are required, along with neutral shoes; a standard pump or dressy sandal.
Minimal jewelry is recommended.
Remember that the Poinsettia Junior Debutante will be in the spotlight, so be sure that there is an adequate slip underneath the gown.
Jewelry -A single earring in each earlobe, no other body piercings or any tattoos can be visible. Father or
Presenter
Black Tuxedo with white tie and vest, tails, and gloves. Mother: Full-length gown.
Guests
Men and Boys: a traditional tuxedo with black tie and cummerbund. Women and Girls: a full-length gown. This means no short dresses, cocktail dresses or evening pants.
Formal wear is required for everyone attending the ball.

Debutantes and their fathers must attend rehearsal on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, at Marriott Grandview Birmingham. The exact time will be provided closer to the date.
*Don’t forget to bring your shoes; consider scuffing the bottoms as well!
